Pediatric nephrology listservs

Mailing lists

Much of the day-to-day conversation in paediatric nephrology happens on mailing lists. CAPN runs the Canadian one; the University of Chicago hosts a family of international lists, each with its own focus. All are worth knowing about early in training.

Canadian

  • CAPN listserv

The Canadian list, used for association business, job postings, meeting announcements and clinical questions among CAPN members.

To be added, email contact@capneph.ca. Members post to capnlistserve@groups.mcmaster.ca.

International

  • PedNeph

The long-running general list for paediatric nephrology, with roughly 600 subscribers worldwide. Difficult cases get posted here and the replies are often a seminar in themselves.
